ABOUT ME

DSC_0026.webp

Respectful, responsible and responsive: that's my mantra.

Born in England, I immigrated to Canada when I was a child.  I speak Cantonese and English.  In 1994, I graduated from the University of Toronto (Erindale College) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, Industrial Relations, and Professional Writing.  In 1999, I graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Laws degree.  In 2001, I was called to the Bar of Ontario.  After 3 years of personal injury practice, I found my true calling in Canadian immigration law.

I am a member of the Law Society of Ontario and Mississauga Law Chambers.  I am happy to be a coach and an advisor with the Law Society's Coach and Advisor Network (CAN) .  I am proud to sponsor the American Women's Club of Southern Ontario (AWCO).

I understand the challenges of individuals and families who face increasingly complex processes and requirements to seek opportunities and achieve their goals in Canada.

My mission is to reunite families in Canada, prevent deportation, present all relevant evidence, ensure fairness in proceedings and fearlessly advocate in the best interests of clients.

Life is complex and people are busy; I take my job seriously because the work I do affects present and future generations.
